My name is Nancy Tsen.
I started my career as a maternity nurse in a hospital setting, but found that life put me on a much happier and heartfelt path to provide specialized lactation and feeding care to clients in the home setting.

CRADLE ME LACTATION
is about providing genuine care, professional support, and continual advocacy to individuals, babies, and families seeking lactation help to achieve their unique goals. Many lactation and feeding related challenges can improve with the right kind of guidance, encouragement, and compassion for personal experiences. The little ones are often cradled in our arms with warmth, security, and love. I want to be able to provide that same feeling to you and your family as we work together and find what works best for you!
I am based in Long Valley, NJ and am honored to serve the local community and surrounding areas in Northern NJ as a Private Practice IBCLC to provide long term lactation care and support to families in the comforts and realities of their own homes.

My goal is to bring lactation help that is warm, compassionate, respectful, and professional to families in the comforts of their own home. I aim to provide ongoing care, as needed, through the many changes of a journey - whether it is for a few days or a few years. My hope is to work alongside families to support their specific goals, address their concerns, provide evidence-based education, and discover together how to achieve what works best for them with positive encouragement and support.
home visits
Coming to your home means meeting you where you are most most comfortable and where the majority of feedings are taking place. Being in your natural environment gives you a better chance at replicating what you learn at our visit and using tools that you already have. Identifying obstacles and challenges in your physical surrounding could aid in your ability to succeed. I travel to you in order to relieve some burdens such as getting ready to leave your home on time, bringing your baby out, driving, packing diaper bags and bringing your pump.

Insurance & fees
Lactation Consultations for the lactating parent are covered under "Preventative Care" as part of the Affordable Care Act of 2012 (ACA). Please see NWLC BREASTFEEDING TOOLKIT for more information on this law and your rights to lactation care. It is recommended that you contact your insurance carrier for more specific details regarding your coverage. I am an IN-NETWORK provider for AETNA and CIGNA health insurances.
